Petros Kampouris
Petros Kampouris is a Geologist-Geophysicist, a graduate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), holding postgraduate degrees in Applied Geophysics-Seismology (MSc) and Business Administration (MBA). He began his career as a freelancer, participating in major geotechnical and microzoning studies for large-scale projects, such as the Egnatia Odos and the Olympic Stadium. In 2001, he joined the General Secretariat for Civil Protection as a Special Scientific Advisor, having completed further training in crisis management in the USA. Subsequently, he served in positions of responsibility at the Ministry of Interior, and from 2013 at the Presidency of the Government, where since 2021 he held the position of Head of the & Natural Resources, Rural & Urban Development, and Transport & Sector. He possesses extensive experience in coordinating public policies for energy, the environment, and infrastructure, as well as in implementing reforms under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan "Greece 2.0". He is married and the father of two children.
